I doubt that anyone who deserves will actually receive it as its now voted for by the players. Sam deserves it and did do last year but I'll be very surprised if he gets it.

That will never happen, because half of West Yorkshire is still seething that he couldn't recount the life of Lance Todd chapter and verse.

I think its Sam Tomkins who is the clear frontrunner.

He's one of those who is so consistently good, people almost take it for granted. The best player in Super League by a decent margin.

No chance in hell Hock will get MOS. He is the best forward in SL by a mile but his previous history will go against him especially the ban for drug issues. Roby is carrying Saints atm if he gets injured they will really struggle.

Top 3 at this moment for me is

Hock
Roby
Sam Tomkins.

But Hock will not make the shortlist even if he carries on like this all season.
