I'm surprised Sky have not lost more viewers. It is yesterday's technology and very expensive (though they are offering huge discounts to hold onto subscribers). They have lost a lot of sports in what has become a much more fragmented market.

You can now watch Union on, BBC, SKY, C4, ITV, C5, BT and Premier TV, with the BOLDED Channels the key to the future of sports broadcasting........get your audience on FTA, then charge them a premium for streaming event games and eventually the whole thing.

As a sport we don't have a big enough or regular enough FTA audience to think about a paid streaming service, but we need to start getting more games out there in the public domain, or we risk watching our spectator numbers shrink as our audience ages.......it's something we should have looked at a decade ago, but as usual, the RFL and SL chairmen all had their noses in the trough.
The best way forward (if there's no interest from SKY to add any more money) is that we buy an Outside Broadcast system and literally GIVE A GAME A WEEK AWAY as proof of concept........Live sport for Free will appeal to the FTA channels....you can be damn sure that C5 pay a peppercorn amount for their Union....but the Union knows what they are doing........it's the long game.

Just actually noticed it’s not been moved to put it on tv has it? It’s been moved because of the thu night game next week, only clicked when there was no reserve TJ.
Thought was at least going to get to see the game on record, ah well.

If they done the job they were paid to do and you did not keep defending them referees would not be mentioned on the this forum.

I never mentioned them.
But the other view is if the players didn’t cheat you wouldn’t need a ref.

The time change of the Salford game actually helps me but I'll miss the Halifax game.
Booked up for a function in Surrey on the following Saturday that starts as we kick off, had booked a hotel nearby so as not to have to drive back to Kent that night and then haveto drive back to Ealing on the Sunday for the last scheduled home game of the season. Thanks a lot!

As for the double header , how can it have taken so long to have organised one? And with our reduced circumstances maybe next season we could reciprocate and have one at their place? Either way I think it is a good thing that the double headers are reinstated.

Looking at it from a different angle if the ref done his job correctly they would not be able to cheat. I am sure the players will be pleased to find out that they have been accused by you of cheating.

I see, so when refs get things wrong it is an honest mistake, but when players do it is cheating.
