Assume next round of the CC is due to be played 20 Apr looking at our futures, could be a nice weekend to go to Catalan the weather might be on the up over there.
Any money on us getting the N American outfit?
Not that I am suggesting the draw is anything but random though.

It’s the reason why I think the CC has lost its appeal for me, the structure is far too complicated

It has to result in 2 finalists, therefore the numbers must add up ie 128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2

What's so complex about that? Lesser teams appear in the bigger numbers the better teams appear later on. If there is an imbalance(unequal number!) like the next round then you factor in the lesser teams from SL to make the numbers correct which they've done. Its not exactly science. Unless you want byes - would that simplify it for you

or would you prefer Leeds Wigan etc in the 128 and have a straight run to the line for that round?

Play the CC as it was, started with pre lims, 3 early rounds then all the pro teams entered at the same round

i suspect McNamara is going to be sacked anytime soon, and Catalan may bounce back, but i would be happy to play them anyway, on 20 April it is likely to be 20+C and it would be nice to play in the sun...................

Hopefully by then Leigh’s season will be over as far as middle 8s are concerned though.
