The first weekend is finally here. We better be up for this as Swinton certainly will be. With current injuries and those just coming back, I think the 17 will be pretty much as announced at York.

Good solid win for first game then go into the first home game on a positive. Just hope we get a chance to play rugby and not get dragged into a mud fest.

I will take a win of any size. I think teams will see us as a "scalp" and will play above themselves, especially this early in the season. Just hope we cut out the drop balls and needless penalties.................................

Done a big if work with Chris Kendall he is an excellent bloke and a decent ref so hopefully no complaints.

Agree that we will be seen as a scalp to take so we need to go into every game with the right attitude. A bit of basic rugby to start as in pass ball catch ball! Something we seem to struggle with. No stupid free Mtrs!

Appreciate the 'scalp' comments but our 19 should really be more than strong enough to bring the points home.
