Having seen yesterday's game I think Barthau/Leatherbarrow is our best half back combination at this point. Api is gonna take time to settle and yesterday made some errors both in defence and with ball in hand which would've cost us dearly in the middle eights.

I'm hugely impressed by Leatherbarrow, he reminds me of Brough a few years ago when he was at Hull. He's got that control and composure you need from a half, he really kicked Sheffield to death and was the orchestrator of most of London's tries. If anything he doesn't get his hands on the ball enough and control play as much as you would like from a half.

He played very, no argument. Api had a dreadful game, but just like against Whitehaven where he walked on water to yesterday when he was awful too early to make a judgement. Would like to see Api and Bartau in tandem, think they could be exceptional. Leather row a great fallback and 7 maybe his next season as I cannot see us holding onto Bartau if we do not get promoted

Api and Barthau would make a great combo, but I fear that they would be too hit and miss and between them would have a high error rate, I feel that Scott has more control and composure and we need that in order to balance one of the other two.

For me, he's grown as a half back during the season, and he's showing plenty of options.

He had a good game on Sunday but he really does lack pace. He's a great back-up to Barthau in the Championship but I wouldn't play them together when both are fit. He's now got a decent run at 7 however and perhaps he'll begin to show a running game as he grows in confidence.

Why do people think to be a quality half you have to have a running game? You say that to Alan Langer and Brett Kimmorley who were both slow as f**k

A good half,is someone who will take one for the team,after he's passed it. Not many around.
