Signed him on a months trial. Ex Parrammatta and NZ Warriors. Just 24, plays centre/ stand off. Holds Irish passport which is handy. Recovering from knee surgery though.

If he's only on a 4 week trial I'm assuming he's fit now??

In the light of his injury and the fact he has not played lately for Connacht, taking him on a months trial is quite sensible. Hope it all works out.

Let's hope we are Api with him and that he makes a name for himself.! Surely one to trip up the northern commentators.

Seriously though, pleased Hendo is looking to strengthen areas we are weak.

Good signing as a centre. Hopefully for both parties a months trial becomes a full time contract for the Irish international with NRL experience.

Mmmmmmm stand off / centre, apparently we already have someone fitting that description, although Lord Lucan has been seen more than this bloke this season ! Maybe said person isn't settling and wants off ?

Yes slightly odd, the one time i saw Eliab, he looked to have potential - yet he seems to be out in the cold? We do need another creative player, if barthau gets injured we would be in trouble?

I was led to believe he came over very very unfit, but surely by know he must be getting near, especially as he has a couple of run outs with Skolars.

Think he is more of a centre and if was up to it more a replacement in the squad for the injured Nathan Stapleton. As for Eliab I tought he was more a stand off than what liitle we have seen of him at centre. My assumption was he'd been played at centre so he got into the rythym of the team and if you are bringing someone new in you don't want to break up the spine that was working very well.
