Each to their own but I thought the Stoop was soul-less, stands too far from the pitch and in a horrible location.

The Hive's compact, close to the pitch and with standing areas.... and not in Twickenham. I like it.

I'm with you on this. The bars were definitely looking rather tired for the last couple of seasons before we left.

I like the Hive too, though whether that's just because it's new and shiny I don't know. If DH gets his 20 year deal ask me again in a few years time.

One thing that is definitely an improvement, the Hive always have at least one real ale on, whereas the Stoop only carried ale in the RU season, and even then it was only on occasionally.

At the risk of my sanity being called into question again, there was never any chance of top flight status being retained this year with the return of P&R was there?

Short term memory........we shouldnt have been crap 5 years before this but st david.of swinton will be hailed as a.god if he secured.us a.home 20.years........even if those years are spent in the.lower divisions and remember......the.new ground delivered another mind numbing drop in attendances......
