Looks like the Council are beginning to lose faith in their decision refuse the changes.

Great news! Thanks mellers! Why is it in the article the council are going to spend time on how to oppose the appeal, but the Council pulled their enforcement notice out?

Withdrawing the Enforcement does not mean you have planning permission. What this means is the West stand and Floodlights will be here to stay but the Council will want to ensure the rest of the development is acceptable and they will want restrictions on hours of use and Noise/Light .

Because of the original refusal this will be decided at the hearing in June if no agreement is made before then.

the only thing this will effect in regards to the Broncos is the level of rent we will be charged in 2016 (if not 2015).

It will effect fans going to Broncos games and this is what matters.
Most fans going to watch don't really care what the rent is in 2 years time, they care whether they will be able to sit in their seat and watch the game.

The West stand and floodlights are no longer threatened with demolition and if Junes hearing is successful then substantial building work will take place over the following 6 months. The rear of the west stand will be extended to create an indoor concourse and the North terrace will be replaced with a seated stand.

Most importantly for Disabled supporters a lift will be installed in the West stand so disabled supporters can watch the game from a high vantage point like the rest of us.

They've thrown in the towel. This should mean the changes happen.

Result! Scuse me ignorance, but changes as in changes to the stand and floodlight heights?
