It was a nice touch that U12's were admitted free with vouchers the ground staff were handing out. Perhaps something London could do in the future either at the ground or getting the vouchers into local schools.

Jaybs, I assume the "write off the season" was a question rather than a statement.

I cannot see that the Club can afford to write off a whole season insofar as sponsorship deals are not done in a few weeks during the off season but start now, so if the club is looking to improve it's financial base, they surely should act now?

I bumped into a few of the Broncos Boys at their heavy weights gym on Saturday and they look to be in good shape, so I don't think that fitness or a lack thereof is the problem... but we all know that don't we?!

It was intended as speculation, but it could be question!

Yes major companies will start looking at their sponsorship budgets now for 2013 read for confirmation in September onwards, but does anyone in our sport of rugby league think that way? the farce with the RFL and the electronic advertising boards is just the same as the sponsorship with advertising on trucks, someone in one of the weekly rugby newspapers today said how they had seen two of the club trucks on the road, but was not sure if one was Leeds, well if a rugby fan can't tell what will someone who knows little about Super League think, for me advertising for sports coverage on Sky!

The players as you say look fit so that is not the problem, we know what is but I doubt at this stage the way the review has gone so far there will be little immediate action to put the demise behind us?

@Jaybs, the Stobbart situation is a clusterf.ck regardless of what others might say.

Anyway, what would be better is hanging baskets at train stations near league grounds :DAISY:

.....feel free to list the number of brilliant concepts and campaigns that have come out of TW2 Towers since that idea was first proposed as part of a 20 point plan, peoposed as some ideas that might have helped increase crowds, back in September2008?

I'd be fascinated to hear your thoughts on how we've gone from 3,909 per game to 2,783, or are you just being an idiot?

Now GF you seriously need to get a sense of humour and admit when ideas are laughable as that part of the 20 point plan was and accept a gentle bit of pisstaking for what it was and not bite quite so hard.

As you should know, I've agreed with the vast majority of your ideas and whilst I can be an idiot I am one that can laugh at myself.

The club will die due to two things:

Poor perforance on the pitch and the lack of marketing.

I actually think that despite your massive ego you would be the best person to market the club as your ideas (Flowers accepted  ) are by in large work in most other businesses, so should transfer across.

Friends now? :DAISY:

Sarcasm helps keep you from telling people what you really think of them.

The club turned him down, foolish or clever, you decide.

Ah well.......unless they want to pay me to work from Home, I guess we will never know, will we, because the commute would be a bit of a strain

Just seen the highlights for this game.

Was it an experiment? Sarginson at 1, Dorn at 6, Howell at right centre, Lovell at left centre. That might have been OK except for the fact that a large number of players then seemed to switcheroo - Bailey defended right and left, Lovell left, right and centre. What an organisational shambles! How can defensive structures/partnerships be built on a system that resembles musical chairs?

Clueless.

We will only ever know if he is given the chance, I suggest on a Pay if he comes up with the goods that for too long now he has preached to us he can deliver with it seems a guarantee! as I have said on another thread if he does not come up with the goods! kick him out and give him no money! what can we lose or Mr Hughes?
