great to get the win, started like a house on fire! some excellent attacking running lines from us

murphy once again showed what a good player he is and so so underated by too many fans.

we let them back in it though with stupid penalties., leeming is a penalty machine, ikahihifo too not far behind and mamo had too many errors!

3 wins on the trot just happy to be winning again, its been a dire season so far, things looking on the up finally!

hinchy no doubt the ultimate professional who the youngsters will look upto and follow his lead

thing is hes on a big wage and also takes up a quota spot

he knows woolford and will have to see if he fits into future plans, woolford may want to use the cap space/quota

also a mention for clough, who thorman has said hes the type of player you can build a clubs culture round, another guy who doesnt get many plaudits..look how many games he has played for us now too!

Yeah Clough has turned out to be a good buy, certainly the best of the 4 that came, and Murphy has always been a good player, It takes more than one game but he certainly looked the part yesterday.

Brough and Murphy were arguably the best players on the field yesterday, and both of them plenty on here would have got rid of months ago, They are also two players that seem to get far less injuries.

obrien and clough good signings from bradford

gaskell not so much but still played more games than many predicted and has utility value

roche a waste of cap space albeit not much.

Balancing the cap is all about getting value for money on each of your players. Gaskell will be one of the highest paid players at the club, and to be worth his value he needs to be doing the job he was bought for, playing in the halves, making things happen. He is actually doing the job that your lowest cap player should be doing, utility cover for your backline. You have to look at each player not only in comparison to others, but in terms of value for the amount of cap they receive.

not sure he was brought in to play in the halves, i had him at centre when signed, brierley was signed to play in the halves with brough and so was rankin!

gaskell was deemed worth his salary when given the deal... hindsight a great thing, sometimes he has been worth it most time not

Seriously why would a player coming from a league below be on big bucks? Gaskell will be on average money at best and as such as done okay.
