Not sure what to believe - League Express say this is deal done but Giants normally keep signings very quiet and are first to announce. No mention on club website yet?

Cloughs game is pretty simple - and he does it well.

Paul Jackson was a fav of mine. Had a good step that got him a few extra metres.

Not true!

League Express reported Clough, Gaskell and Ferguson long before the club announced it.

Same with Wakeman and Mamo.

The only one which surprised me was Turner.

LE even reported the Rankin deal before we announced it.

Clough has turned out better than i expected, He gets through some work.

I know nothing about Walne, but he sounds like a bit more of What we already have plenty of, Some one must have looked him over though.

Yep - clough better than I expected.

Think, like some other players, it took us a while to establish everyone's role.

Clough not an off loading barnstormng prop like Taai and Seb, but boy his taclikng and work rate are great, plus he is a safe ball carrier.

He has also played in every SL game which considering the injury problems we have had is a great achievement. he has also managed to go all season without giving a single penalty away.

clough very experienced too

not given a penalty away?! thats awesome... something stone wanted to cut out..as a team we have pretty much sorted out this problem area, longer stone gets with the team and they start to believe in his processes the better we will get

Its the 28 penalties Leeming has given away that is the issue and that he needs to address as the rest of his game is quality.

Yes his game has moved on no end but he has a bit to learn yet. Sam Tomkins could be penalized at almost every ruck he is involved in " a lot he gets involved in when he has no need " But he is a quality player and more than that he is a smart one, I think the whole Wigan team are coached how to play right to the limit, It's part of the modern game.

Leeming will learn, I look forward to him progressing, he shows every sign of being a top player, and it all seemed to kick off in the friendlies.

Yeh an area leeming can work on, been really good for us this year apart from that, can only see him getting better and obrien for that matter too, two young hookers
