If Cudjoe is back then back 4 has to be:

1. Mamo
2. Jerry
3. Cudjoe
4. Murphy
5. Darnell

I would then let Mellor move to 2nd row and have Taai in at prop.

I heard we may de register Symonds if we find a player. Not sure how true this is but I heard we were in for Tony Williams T Rex from Cronulla but he just injured his knee while playing for Tonga - so now a no go!

The team looks pretty strong for Magic, except 6 and 7. Hopefully Isaac F will get 1 of the half back spots, and maybe with Sam Wood but that's a bit of an inexperienced pair for a big stage like Newcastle. Be good to get Ukuma back on the field.

Yes, but if they have played together as a half back pairing before- all Be it at a lower level they will have done understanding of each other's game.

yeh that back line is solid

if taai is back thats a huge boost, but for our second row! think the props are doing ok for us now.. wakeman getting better every game, ikahihifo a beast, rapira looking for a new contract looks hungry again , clough solid enough

taai and ferguson in the second row with hinchy loose, roberts off the bench impact where he is best.

the big problem though is our half backs!!! wood and farrell???!!

yeh taai problem was his back i read

wasnt long ago cudjoe had the longest run of consecutive games in sl of any player !!!

Jaz Simpson played FB on dual register for newscastle thunder this weekend against Toronto. Good that the lad is getting game time

yeh i saw some of that game and spotted him! he got rounded easily for a toronto try in first half, good to see him playing though

brierley scored a nice try too for toronto.
