stone says that huby wanted to leave.... dont think he deserves a warm welcome tonight after we stuck by him with the ferres saga..

got a bad feeling for tonight , the omens are not looking good, wakey to get the win, hope im wrong!

And not sure what you're getting at with the Jerry thing, I was just saying how 2 of our senior pro's explained to us how the defensive structure works and who's job it is to do what and how it can have a knock on effect on everyone else if someone doesn't do their job correctly. Doubt they would just make a story up on their way to a meeting to cover up what someone thinks is happening.

If 2 others fail to do their jobs it would mean the winger and centre could potentially be facing a 4 or even 5 on 2 situation, not really anything anyone can do there apart from make a decision whether to try and go for the ball or cover one of the spare men.

I fully get that situation- but that's not the issue I'm referring to, I'm referring to the situation where we are numbered up perfectly fine but our winger is wrong footed when the opposition turns back inside and misses the one on one tackle.

I'm not going to give a welcome warm or otherwise to huby. . Can't blame huby for wanting away from bad memories. But he was never that brilliant for us so meh.

You could say for every tackle missed, it was down to someone earlier missing their tackle. There's no shame in people missing a tackle here and there, ( nobody makes every one ) when it happens fairly often there is obviously a problem to sort. And It's not what people think is happening It's what they see. Nobody is saying drop them.

Would of been well beaten tonight against a better team but we played well enough to get back into the game.
Defence is a real worry, showed some fight in the last 5 minutes on our goal line though.

Seb, Ta'ai and Leeming stood out for me. Wood also impressed offensively and Rapira looked times fitter.

Brought isn't kicking well enough.. it could be the difference in another match.
Still think Brierly isn't being used to the best of his ability.

Gaskell threw up on the sideline I think. He didn't look right.

I'll take 2 points! Wakefield were unlucky. Thought they dominated the ruck for large parts and spread the ball well.

God knows how we won that, well i do - we got Kruise running from dummy half again, it worked in the 1st 20, we stopped using him, they got into the game, we used him again and won.

Thought we were poor tonight and a decent team would have smashed us tonight, Wakefield are not a decent team, i thought we were on for a trouncing at one point, credit to our boys though for sticking at it and getting something.

We have to get better, we've had 2 awful performances in a row now.

Kruise is getting better every game - give him as much time on the field as he can handle.
