we finished bottom last year cos we werent good enough and only those who can see into the future will know how next season goes so those who are saying we arent or wont be good enough its all testicles no one knows and lets face it its not hard to improve from last year is it
I think the very fact that people post on here makes them fans, I don't believe any of them don't want the club to do well, They will all pay their money for the most part and cheer just the same.
There does ,as Daz says appear to be two camps on here but what's the problem with that ? One side it seems believe that the way forward is to voice your opinion about the way things have gone in the past and are going at present in the hope that something may change, They have no right to expect it but they can hope.
The other side seem to take the view that all that can be done is being done, The club is punching above it,s weight is a common saying on here, or put another way we are doing better than we have a right to expect.
Some are going to go to matches however low the standard drops, and they are proud to tell you they were there, They will then come on here with some very imaginative excuses about what went wrong, They will always take the view that the club has done it's best and it's a true fans job to go and support them when they are at their very lowest no matter what kind of rubbish is being dished up. These are the Fans who would still have PA coaching us , because we won the LLS under him.
That's fine with me if that's their choice good on them, just don't expect every one else to do the same, and when they don't, "call them moaners or not true fans" It seems the public of Huddersfield in general don't take that view. I think there has been so many years of utter stagnation that it was always going to be a mammoth task to get the club back to anything like.
Along comes Mr Davy and through what seems to be grim determination, accompanied by a lot of money he has dragged the club forward, Last season was a disaster and has resulted in him having to give Huge discounts on STs to try to keep interest alive. But we can't afford to have another season like that, that is why it's so important to get the team right. We have a new coach and he needs to be given at least a team he has a chance with, We need to keep going forward, We need to always be SL, to survive.
So just because people give their opinions or express their disappointment about ,this, that or the other, It doesn't mean they are not fans, Their money is just as good as the next persons, We are all fans and the idea is to get more of us, both on here and the terrace,
