Yorkshire Evening Post has printed in a article tonight that Hardaker will be announced as a Huddersfield player after Cas didn't match our offer. Interesting times.......

Agree with that really, I'm not put off by his reputation, there are plenty as bad, He is a class act but i wouldn't get into a bidding war over him. There will be quality fullbacks in the lower level in Oz, they just need finding.

Mamo has fractured his ankle on Holiday and will be out till Feb. Will we wait till he has recovered? If Wardle was part of a deal will he miss Newcastle pre season? So we may see a Mid season swap. Interesting couple of months to come from the Giants....

From what I hear Hardaker to play FB, Mamo Wing. (COULD BE rubbish) buts lets Just say this happened and Wardle went to Newcastle, Eorl retired and Wood went to Leeds.

From this its easy to see why the Bradford 3 maybe signed as squad players as we will be very short even still, especially in the PROPS.

You have Gaskell as a poor mans Rat boy Ratchford and can cover every position 1, 3/4, 6 & 7 and would probably end up in the centres instead of Murphy with Murph on the wing till Mamo is fit then Murph goes to Centre cover.

mamo injury is a bad one just typical spanner in the works isnt it for us!

the deal could be off now, it would be a big risk signing him now with him being out for upto 4 months and missing the whole of pre season, even then if he did come would he ever be the same? it would give maybe simpson the chance to be number 1 if we did sign him till hes 100% fit again.

hard one now , will have to trust rick stone on this one!

if its off then even more reason to get hardaker in now!!! out of the two id prefer hardaker anyway, former man of steel and will want to get back in the england squad.

hope we know one way or the other this week

And probably never will until/unless he ditches the 'mates' he hangs around with

That's why a permanent move to the NRL would have been the best move for Zak

Hardaker is an undoubted talent but really hope we do NOT sign him, just signing trouble and after the season we have just had......why???? If that's what we want let's go the whole hog and bring back Scott Moore!!!
That is sarcasm by the way before anybody takes it seriously!!

Hardaker would be a superb signing and would improve us no end. I remember when we signed Brough and some weren't happy but look how that signing went. If we want to push on, signing players of the calibre of Hardaker are a no brainer.
