just think if we had a good response to the season tickets we may get abit more cash for a player to come in like mamo! or davy may just think hmmm well ive not had the response i thought so will keep abit back for the hit im taking on the season ticket deal
Brearley,i don't know if i am or not yet, I have other things and other people to consider, It's not just straight forward for me.
I think last season when i didn't have one it would have been cheaper for me if i had, but as i say it is not just a question of money. I do support the club as and when i can, but when i come on the forum i speak my mind, ( i thought that was what a forum was for ) Unfortunately that upsets some people if it involves a player they particularly like.
Regarding Big Eorl, I have never called him a poor player, nor have i ever criticized his work rate, I have said that his talent has largely been wasted, since Brown left and i believe it. My comment that he is poor value for money now, is in comparison to what we could get for the same money with a young upcoming player, being as we are supposedly making a fresh start. It is as ever just my opinion, It's not a moan, a whinge or any kind of complaint, Just an opinion.

You only have to make 5 games for it to be worth your while Jo- if you think you will be able to make that many then you may as well get one. If not- and you can only make three get one anyway and you only have to sell a couple you can't make it to at £15 to get your money back!

I will more than likely get one jools, I am hoping " like everyone else that R Stone is going to be the man ", I have had a couple of short conversations with him, and i was fairly encouraged by how he talked, so as you say a ST it will almost certainly be cheaper for me anyway, it is not just a case of money but i shall en-devour to sort it.
Somewhere in the dust of time rest the bones of the Galilean He who was spat upon. He whose face was marred beyond all human likeness Somewhere buried among the lies of the past rests the tomb of Yeshua Of he who was made God in a world without Hope. And when this son of Joseph is found. What then will the Church of Rome say? Prepare yourself for the day is coming. And men will say "Blessed are the wasted lives who perished in the flames of the holy war"
I'll buy one. But if they were £200 still i wouldn't. I want to watch Rugby on a Sunday not a Friday. I could go to every Friday match but I don't want to. I only went to two this season and I very nearly diodn't go to one of those. After spending all week getting up at 6:20 every morning, driving a over 40 mile round trip to work. I don't want to spend Friday night driving into town and back and spending nearly 2 hours sat watching a Rugby match, i'd rather go out with friends or relax at home. If the Giants choose to play on a Friday they are choosing not to be a part of my life. That's up to them. Sport just isn't that important in life.

Completely sympathize with that, It is all a matter of how big a part of your life the Giants are, For some it is very big and good luck to them, Others it is just casual, Mr Davy will appreciate your money which ever you are.

Agree totally, wouldn't have a go at anyone for their lifestyle choices.
I would add that I hope this move works for the club. I don't blame Ken Davy for making this choice as they obviously needed to do something. I also appreciate that he took the time to say he was aware this wouldn't be popular with some of the long-standing fans.
Whilst the friday nights might be inconvenient for some fans to attend the games, it is also beneficial for the players and coaches, the team! So as fans, are we happy to sacrifice our friday nights to the team have a better chance of being successful? i suspect should we win the treble next year, not many people will be giving it a miss. Let's hope so
