when will we hear anything from him ???

you hear from other clubs chairman, maybe too much from koukash but never a much from davy

players have it far to cosy down at the john smiths im afraid, abit like thewlis...untouchable and get paid whatever the situation is.

the fans show more passion and get up for the big games.. about time the culture changed down there ...think stone knows whats wrong but come into a rotten situation, hope he gets time to sort it out

What do you expect Ken to say really? Why would you expect him to make a statement after another loss?

Ken will be as upset and dismayed as the rest of us.

Ken has to take some responsibility too however. He left Thewlis in a job because he is a family friend. And he also left Anderson in the job for way too long.

Not having ago I may point out. Rightly Ken is a legend of this club.

Ken is a legend, but that doesn't mean he can't make mistakes...

Also, regarding the silence. It could well be a tactical silence, I would prefer matter to be dealt with privately within the organisation. As long matters are being dealt with. Because it's obvious things need changing.

All the years of poor management have come and bit us on our booty. A quote from a player not me, and that was a quarter of the way into the season. So the players know that there ia problems at the club.

A lot of people are blaming the players, but you can't expect them to perform at their peak if the management is not at the same level as their required Performance. Just like with any job. A lot of the blame has to be put on the management of the club, which Ken Davy is responsible for..

Nothing from Ken but Cudjoe has surfaced to apologise for the no show by Giants defence last Sunday , usual waffle that were all tired of hearing , If Connors is picked for this Sundays game then our family are not going , if we dont it will be the first game in years that we have missed but were not prepared to waste our time watching rubbish like that , yes our family are Grixie fans and while hes far from perfect he is a far better full back than Connors

I agree that there's not much to be gained by putting things out in public. Not quite sure I agree with poor management affecting what happens on the field though. I've worked for some really sh.. managers in my time, but it hasn't stopped me doing my job to the best of my ability. It's been said time and again- the coach the managers and the directors don't miss tackles, drop balls or kick out on the full.
Rudyard Kipling has it spot on with IF. Right now the players aren't being men.

silence just leads to rumours and the fans guessing about whats going on

hull kr and salford have come out and said things so the fans are informed but its just a closed shop at the giants and dont engage with the fans

thewlis has to go, the management has been shocking and they have been caught out now, going into this season with such a small squad was criminal

So you're saying poor management can't knock the confidence of the players, which will then have a negative effect on the field?

You may react differently to shi* managers than other people, everyone is different.

Also, let's not forget there are other factors such as Robinson, Ferres, Injuries, Anderson. Everything sort of went wrong at once.

I would also hugely question the recruitment or lack of it over the last few years too...

I agree we've had a lot go wrong- and recruitment has been poor. But none of that turns good players into bad ones overnight. We have a lack of leaders at the club- and that has manifested itself in a poor reaction by the players to those things that have gone wrong. The management are at fault for SOME of WHAT has gone wrong yes but the players are at fault for the poor way THEY have handled them. Some of them need to grow some whatits and show determination to fight. (Metaphorically speaking) for the club.
