What we should be doing is watching and learning and trying to adapt and use good things to promote our club ( cue hysteria on here as any negativity means you are not a true fan)

You can not compare to soccer in any way though brearley. On any weekend of League with a full program of Games for the 3 divisions, just one of the top soccer clubs will pull in more fans on their own, It's a sad fact and one i will never understand because i fail to see what people like about the game but it is fantastically popular.

On top of that we have to remember that Rugby league is just the opposite, It is very poorly supported by and large, I can remember times when it was far more popular," unless it just seemed that way ". If Sky had not come along and changed the game to Summer, it would be gone now other than as a poor semi-pro sort of game.

Sky own the game now , fans through the turnstiles although very desirable are a bonus, and are basically the main reason the same clubs win everything year on year, Simply because they have more to spend, " there are other factors as well but i think that's the main one.

i think they have tried this time to be fair, discounted tickets and spreading the word well with plenty of exposure

just pointing out that the football club are still doing very well regarding crowds and maybe not results at the moment
