Big gob Pearson has achieved more in 5 years at Hull than Sir Ken has in his entire time at Hudds.

Also don't get the overseas dig our best players this year have been Shaul, Sneyd, Houghton and Ellis, all English, in fact we have only made one big overseas signing and that was Frank who has been a big quiet on the field, it's been our Hardin overseas signings like Talanoa, Mini and Fonua who have stood out.

Houghton is the big player for me an 80 minute 50 tackle Hooker means four forwards on the bench gives Hull a massive advantage.

He has a big go forward pack to follow around usually on the front foot which makes it say for him to spark plays from dummy half.

So much quality at hooker I wouldn't be upset if it was any of Hodgson, Houghton, Clarke or Roby.

I think Hodgson and Clarke would be a good combo, depends if he wants to use two hookers or just one.

anyone noticed how many tries hull score from kicks... noticed it earlier in the season, continues! happened against us too

Not at our place- Sneyd had an absolute stinker at the JS this year- so much so that the hudds fans were singing 'sneeeeeeyyyyyyyyd'
he does seem to blow hot and cold. Houghton is doing this year what he's been doing for years and years- the kind of grafter that rarely gets noticed as he's not a flashy player just gets his head down and is brilliantly consistent every week- that's why players like him (Hodgson, cooper etc) do well in aus unlike players like tomkins, J burgess, hardaker.
Hull have 7 overseas players in their squad- last year we had 1. But there's no point having a go at hull for it- we are now up to 5 and it's likely to be increasing to 7 if rumours are true. They don't need to bring through their own and aren't likely to now that they've finally won a trophy by not doing!
