Game 4 - London at home : Mon Aug 22, 2016 1:15 pm
Up next is london who i feel are a step up from batley and fev but still expect a win

hope stone can improve the defence during the week off! london can score points

mcgillvary to return to the team? would replace ormsby i think

and go on i will get this hot topic going.... will brough return?!?! obv he's the new scapegoat for grix now.

has brierley done enough to retain half back, would you drop ellis... would you put brough at hooker and move hincy to loose...

you need your best players playing, brough is still out best player, if the others wanted to win and try as hard as he does then we wouldnt be where we are now!

crowd for a friday night game v london??? hopefully over 3k

SHOULD be another win if we play to well and turn up with the right attitude.
I'm hoping the first half Vs Batley side of the Giants turn up.

Waiting game for Brough if it was my choice. Ellis and Brierley are doing just fine. Can't have a hot head elbowing people in important games like this. It would send out a wrong message to the squad to drop the on form partnership.

Can't see much of a crowd turning up for this one to be honest. Scrape 3000.

Need to try and rack up as many points as possible, and concede few,as points diff further down the line could be crucial.

Agreed! Could be the difference between automatic promotion or the million pound game, or even the unthinkable!
Wish somebody had told our players that in the last 40 against Batley..
No disrespect to Batley, after that first half they shouldn't have had the energy to win the second half.

I'm not sure Jerry will even be fit next game- lots of rumours he's a few weeks away. If he is back then Ormsby should play instead of Murphy if we go by performance in The Batley game. Both were below par- but Ormsby showed with that great try in the corner that he knows how to finish. And he can run the ball in more strongly than Murphy. A player of murphys experience should not be allowing the ball to be taken from his hands at all- let alone twice in one game.

Jerry has a grade 2 quad tear... which is an 8-12 week injury. Obviously, he is looking to be back asap so will be taking it week to week.

Totally agree mate, but who want's a player with a bit of bottle, and a bit of fight in him, Imadgine ! he actually elbowed somebody and got a ban, that must be a first for anyone in a Giants shirt, they are usually the one's getting elbowed, Don't want that sort of thing, stick with the pedestrian stuff, It's safer and completely boring.

Totally agree Brough should play but with Brierley as the other half back.

Against Wire and Saints we lost because when we threw the intercept/dropped ball they had someone who could go 90 metres and score.

Brierleys done it loads of times this season and his defence ain't as bad as Ellis's.

Batley ran at our right hand side 2nd half because it's ponderous with Ormsby and Ellis who didn't do enough for me to retain his place when Brough is back.

He did some nice stuff but his defence is awful and his show and go is ponderous this season as he doesn't look as fit as last, the odd one might work as at Batley but not against a Super League side as has been proved this season.

We've got some big forwards but until we put the attacking line back 5 metres we won't win any collision Ta'ai, Derek and Roberts will win more collisions than they lose if they only get a bit of pace up when taking the ball.

It's why we struggle to score at times against a decent side who move up quick.

Yet their brave bid came to a stunning end when Cudjoe stepped out of the defensive line to intercept a pass and then run away for a 90-metre effort. (Times 2)
