hopefully we have beaten hull kr or leigh by then but at the moment if our defence doesnt improve we wont...but these 3 games against the poorer sides ares till about building for the bigger games ahead , confidence must be up abit more than a few weeks ago and as fans we need to try keep abit of feel good factor about the place so they keep that confidence

We will have done well to beat KR before the Leeds game unless Rick Stone has a time machine.

all if's and but's let's just have faith that our lads will come through without having to work out who should beat who by how many points etc, let's cross that bridge if and when we come to it, hopefully it won't.
Lets just get to the games and give the lads support and hope they do the business

And is this what we are now reduced too, Hopeing this team will beat that team if the Sun shines, or the wind blows from the right side of the field. If we won our games ,we wouldn't need to bother what other teams are doing, but we have known that all season and nothing has changed.
We can't make excuses for a second half show like that by saying we nearly lost to them last time we were there. We were an embarrassment whichever way you look at it, within the first five minutes of the second half as soon as the pressure came on ,we did what we always do, start giving away penalties because we couldn't handle it, we are stars at that, but well we can always blame the reff.

Murphy was very poor, in a miserably poor side second half, and Ormsby would have been better off walking his dogs, If thats what we have to offer, we are already a championship side.

I didn't go to Batley due to a prior engagement therefore can't comment on that 2nd half. It doesn't seem pretty reading.

The bottom line is we have beaten the 2 lowest ranked championship sides and lost to the SL side that has only one win - against us.

I agree all this 'if this if that happens' is meaningless.

I was more than happy to finish 12th rather than 11th as we have 3 games against champ opposition to get our act together.

We look to be doing that slowly but surely.

What we can't afford is to slip backwards like we have all season after a decent result.

To me the next 4 fixtures build in intensity and obviously define not only our season but our future.

All this 'if this or that happens' to me smacks of desperation.

We need to get our arses into gear and play to our potential for 80 mins in the next 4 games - period.

Otherwise we could well be a championship team next season.

Your right it doesn't make pretty reading, but believe me the vierwing was a lot worse. In the second half it was Batley who looked the SL side and us the championship side, But if we are being brutally honest, except for 2/3 games we have looked like a championship side all season, completely amateurish.
The one highlight of the second half was a length of the field effort from Brierley , it's a good job it was him because Alex Brown coming from the oposite wing would have caught any of our other players with ease.
I said part way through the season getting relegated might not be the end of the world for us. I don't suppose it would do a lot for the crowds but it might be a chance for a fresh start, Build from the bottom so to speak, learn to play the game how it's meant to be. I still think people will turn up to watch entertaining Football rather than the tripe we have been getting served up.
One thing is just about certain if we do get relegated, or even if we don't, If we keep turning out what we have been , it will soon be back to the famous 300 days.

It would be the worst thing- we would not be afford to run as a club. A 35k seater stadium to pay a lease on, with less sponsorship money, no sky money and potentially no rich benefactor. We could end up like York/Sheffield.
