At one time I would have welcomed this but he did us big time on his last visit against Catalans with the non sending off of Inu, the sending off of Wardle followed by 7 penalties on the bounce against us.

I notice Ferres didn't get cited for a similar effort on Friday night and I'm not arguing Wardles was wrong just that there's no consistency.

Also Ah Van got 5 matches for a throw that put a player out for 3 months but when he played for us Ferres got 7 for a throw on Lomax who played on with no injury surely based on that Ah Van should have got the full 8 games. Inconsistent yet again.

I suppose Thaler is still marginally better than Cobb or Child !!

yep seen loads of high tackles just like wardles but he got sent off and banned yet i have seen nothing other than a penalty for opposing teams when they play us

There has been this conspiracy " formulated by the RFL and carried out through the referees " against the Giants or some years now, I forget at the moment why they are doing it. The strange thing is they are doing it against every other club as well " according to their fans "

Lets face it.......
Even if your team arent playing and you watch a televised game from a neutral standpoint you`d need a brandy or two to mask the shock of an evenly handled game .
And quite honestly the camera re-runs and inquests dont help at all in a lot of situations

To say the refs went "full-time" the only thing thats improved (IMO) is the pay packet !

You shouldnt notice a good refereeing display --but their influence on a game and its result can be immense and totally disproportionate .

But as long as nothing changes ......we`re stuck with it!

This might come back to bite me on the arris around 10pm tomorra neet,but personally I'm okay with Bent Haler as our ref.

Thought Hicks was alright last week - well I would say that seeing as we won - only disgrace was when JJB flopped on Elroy,who got frustrated quite rightly and shoved only for Hicks to penalise Elroy.Crazy that when he had been calling 'movement' after about a tenth of a second after contact during the rest of the game.

Well I thought Ben went well in this one,more especially after he got persuaded that Leeds really were offside in the opening 10 to 15 minutes.

Small fan base but can be quite vocal when we need to be,and probably more than ever when Leeds come to town.
