Expectations for tonight ?? : Fri Apr 29, 2016 7:30 am
On the assumption that Eorl plays we have a relatively strong side out tonight against a Leeds side that has only 4 of its 1-13 shirted players on the team sheet and is missing all bar one of its major playmakers. Is it unreasonable then to expect a committed performance which should on paper lead to a victory over a far more weakened team than our own?
Based on home advantage against the probable Leeds team on duty I would go further and say we will never have a better chance of beating Leeds than we have tonight it's never easy to beat them and things should not be taken for granted but in a must win game defeat is not acceptable this evening as I can't see where the excuses would come from to justify it.
Robert Hicks is the referee so at least it's one of the more experienced ones.
I can't see this Leeds team turning up for the cup tie next week so tonight WE MUST take advantage !!
