might have wanted to give roberts his chance as he performed well in the autumn internationals for ireland

and maybe we didnt know what was going to happen with ferres at that time then we we did not many players were available to sign

Agreed, he's well past his best and goes down 2 easy, then takes forever to get up ( defence all ready set) he's been a great servant for the club in his time but I feel that is the reason he is still playing , I would have replaced him at the end of the 2013 year and given him a role somewhere behind the scenes or he could pursue his TV career., also he could have left on a high. That seems to be the problem at the giants at the min keeping average players and trying to win the Gf with them ( hence bottom of the league ) , what makes it hard to take for me was we where so close and now we seem to have a mountain to climb agen. Obviously I will still show up ,home and away week in week out , but it dose grate on even the loyalist supporters ,some of the strange decisions made at the club over the last 2 years.!

I think people have been saying the same thing about Eorl for about 5 years now

Yet his stats still put him up with the best, and tonight he ran some hard yards. He always does

Winning try apart - He put in tonnes of work tonight. Played long minutes, loads of tackles and hard yards.

Thought Eorl was superb , his work rate is fantastic , like Lawrence but is labelled "rubbish" because he doesn't do all the flashy stuff.

game changed in leeds favour when crabtree went off from his first stint

johnson gave some cheap pens away he will have to learn

It's nowt to do with flash it's because he's supposed to be our enforcer (the big man) and more often than not he gets stopped dead and goes down on his knees then takes forever to get up, he doesn't drive with his legs to gain that extra yard like some of his smaller team mates do. Don't get me wrong he is an ok forward but he doesn't exactly insight fear in the opposition like say Morley did . My point was he's OK and I don't think ok will win us the grand final. He's obviously got his supporters tho and it's just my opinion. Lawrence is a fantastic player !.
