What he hasn't been doing for years is playing 80 mins and putting in a load of tackles. 44 last night- Something has changed

Yes playing fora contract for another club.

Expect him to rip it up till july then sign for another club and do nothing for the rest of the season

This is abit harsh after one competitive game isn't it. Even some of our safest pair of hands were dropping the ball.
Does anybody have any inside information about him wanting to leave/playing for contract elsewhere? I'm sure if this was the case, he'd of been loan swapped with another player OR he wouldn't of got back into the team.

its not after one game its been going of for years now

I thought he looked about as good in defence as I can remember. Really grafted. Peter Shilton with evo stick gloves could've spilled something on Friday night, so hard to beat him up for that.

One game in and the snipers are at it already, as jools says he did 80mins, never done that before, didn,t have the engine, thats why he was deemed a prop and not a second row,so maybe now he has and will be a more versitile player. Re playing for a new contract, that could be said of any player.

So.....after 1 game against a top side and i've seen or heard folk already having digs at a returning player, the new strength and conditioning team, Scott Grix (as usual), Danny Brough and the coach !!

What on earth do some people expect/want ??

I guess people want a guaranteed win at Saint Helens with an understrength team.
In that weather mistakes are made.

On the plus side, I thought Paul Andersons comments on the game was pretty calming, mature and honest. Not the usual 'I've read it all before'.

Plus, if Jamie Foster does come then we'll have a new target for any loss we have all season and Larne can catch a break and concentrate on doing the tough job he's going to have to do all year being one of our few senior forwards.
