Bit late to be changing our style of play to suit broughton now, sat 4th in the table so doing something right

you have to question why they brought him to the club if they werent going to play to his strengths

but then again they didnt expect murphy to become the winger he is!

Murphy is a middling winger with the trait of being utterly dependable - let's not make him out to be a champion, and Lord knows I am a fan of his too

And it's not about changing our style but remembering what tools are in the box

I remember Gary Schofield doing this many years ago at Whitehaven, a kick from a scrum on our twenty, before the Haven players had time to turn round Ben Barton was away down field to pick up the ball and run unopposed under the posts

Murphy has won is a lot more games than Broughton.

He gets over the line plenty, but his real match winners have been putting his body on the line and making that one on one tackle on our line.

It's not all about running 90 metres for a try.

Why hasn't Broughton being given the space? Everybody seems to think we don't give him the ball in space. Maybe this is because opposition teams know that his only attribute is his speed so makes sure he doesn't get the space.

If he was that good he would create the space for himself like Joe Burgess and other quality wingers do.

Nah it's because he's outside Wardle who never passes and Murphys tries have come from Brough usually


And recently Brought hasn't been so great at his passing or kicking
