Anderson needs to make his mind up and stick with it, Ellis seems to be flavour of the month at the moment and doing well.... suppose its nice to have another option in wood and will keep both players on their toes.

Ellis does have the kicking game which beats wood though

Would be great it we had a promising youngster coming through but you do need plenty of cover in your key poitions

Maybe he is in contention and my comment was badly wrote but my point stands that a number is just a number.
If Simpson (no.31) plays well enough then Grix (no.1) doesn't play. Simpson won't care about his number and I don't think any of the players will as long as they're playing.

why does he? it might be that one offers something the other doesn't , kicking game, running game etc, and the coaches feel that one might do a better job against a certain opponent than the other?
