Seems to be a success with Wardle,Lawrence and hughes. How about Trying Murphy in the second row?

Not big enough. Was thinking more Murphy to centre Wardle back to second row.

This club seems to be mad on forwards, Wardle has been one of our most improved players, a quality Centre withn good size, make him a f2nd row, murphy a very good utility back good size make him a 2nd row, Jerry is bigger than both of them, lets make him a prop? This club is in need of quality backs, desperately, Conner not the finished article Simpson a long way to go, Broughton is never going to do much here, who is going to play 7?, our attack is very poor, points for way off the pace, moving successful backs to the pack is not the answer

murphy in the second row.

its quite natural for some players to move from the backs to the forwards as they physically develop. wardle, Lawrence and hughes were still growing when they made the move!!!!!!

Murph is one of those rare players who does not give a rats butt where he plays as long as he plays.In my opinion one of the clubs best acquisitions.

I thought we got through this with 'Tinkerman' Brown. Everyone was complaining players were being played out of position. Why would we move people to a position they have never played in against!

Murphy is an excellent utility back, one of the most underestimated players in the league, why on earth would we want to lose that ?

A truly good player, who maybe doesn't play to the very highest level in any one position, but plays to a very acceptable level in a few, he rarely has a bad game. I wouldn't ever consider playing him at Hooker myself but you never know , I remember J Sharp playing O'Hare at Hooker.
