Dont think Anderson knows his best 17 ... same last season with bailey and lawrence he wasnt sure who to play. This season we have already abandoned the brough/ellis partnership.

i did like the look of lastnights team though.

would like to see Leeming partner Ellis in the hooking roles. robinson gets targeted way too much now and looks past it..as hard a worker he is and likeable.

ferres down the middle with wardle and hughes or taai either side in the second row

think we played 5 props lastnight! taai/mullally/huby/crabtree/kopczak

still feel until we get better pivot players to help brough then we wont be winning a trophy though. grix/wood/ellis i dont think can give us that but it what we have to go with

would be the way to go? the more i think about that the more i like it! maybe for next season when connor has another season under his belt

I can't say robbo is worse than ellis defensively- i think it's just your perception. I think robbo is better to have in defence than ellis. Robbo is the sort of player who would go for a tackle anyway- he might bounce off but he slows em down!!!

Conner is a better fullback than Centre for me, That's where I would play him, and before I start to get savaged about Grix Let me say that Grix has some good sides to his game, the best being his backing up, and ball catching, The worst being his Tackling, running the ball out, and being tackled with the ball in the line.

i suppose it's hard to pick a best 17 in that sense as different opponents would warrant different selections, some teams, would possibly better with more pace, some with more strength so i guess it depends on who the opponents are and how they play too

I'm constantly chopping and changing my best 17 and there is some players I'd rather see get played in different games.

Wow realised I hadn't put Hughes in. What a healthy squad we have. Will Bailey get another game this season too?

maybe when he gets his bicep back in order, had surgery.

not sure if his contract is up at the end of the season but i cant see it being renewed as things stand

I would put him in now and stick with him. Yes he will make mistakes, but it will develop and improve him in the long run.

It's not like Grix would be a massive loss.
