please, next time we lose a couple of close games, can you come on here and post how we should sack the coach etc etc, it seems to have worked wonders since the knee jerking after the leeds game.
it could have the same effect next time, but do it near the end of the season when the games really matter

Wasn't he as short as 13/2 to be the first coach out at one stage??? Talking of betting anyone take the 80/1 we were to finish top after losing the 3 games or 40/1 for the Grand Final????

hmm no, got stung a few years back when i was backing us to win the final and league but we blew up at the end!

Are the moaners any worse than the cheerleaders who gloat about how great we are when we win four games.

I cant comment on the wire game but the other teams were not up to much.

When we string an 80 minute performance without dozens of mistakes and play at high intensity against couple of top teams in consecutive weeks then i will start dreaming.
An example would have been us against Wakey a TOP team would have put 60 plus on Wakefield.

I also dont think that the next two games will tell us too much either unfortunately.

HKR after the Hull derby may not have been as hard as it would in normal circumstances.

Maybe we will have to wait to see how we do in the really big games.

I reckon that will be in the CC.

Before that i want us to put two games in a row together where the players play for 80 minutes.

I want us to win .......and we're doing it, good performances don't get you in the top 4 - Wins do !

Yes its always nice to win and play perfectly for 80 minutes, unfortunately it rarely happens to any team let alone ours, so on that basis any win and 2 points is the priority for me !

what rubbish Durham-80 minute performances mean nothing now- just ask warrington when they were blowing teams away by 50/60 points- you only need to worry about back to back 80 minute performances in the playoffs thanks to the RFL!

as long as i can see that team is putting the effort in then i can accept losing, but no team puts in a faultless 80 minutes.

after 3 games, it was clear to people who were at those 3 games that the effort was there, just silly mistakes cost us at leeds and wigan, i don't care if we don't blow teams away as long as we win the games, which is what we've done, regardless of the opposition we still have to have the right attitude to win those games... i don't think we have been anywhere near our best in any of the games, but we have turned 3 defeats into 4 wins.

You have to be able to show you can play for 80 minutes before you start playing games where you can turn it on and off.

When we can do it once or twice i will feel confident we can do it in the big games.

Until then we are still a team of chokers.
