Best £100,000 Ken Davy has spent since he's owned the club. Before we signed him I'd always liked him and wished that we'd be in for him even during his Dewsbury days. He's going to go down as one of the Fartown greats.

Just read the thread and it's swayed me into thinking that Daz hasn't got a clue about world class half backs and that Wakey and Cas fans think that their new stadiums are light years away from fruition along with Saints and Salford who won't be getting new grounds for many years to come

interesting stuff! it certainly raised a few eyebrows at the time but who would have thought at the time how instrumental he'd be for us?

also interesting to see all those regular posters who haven't posted in ages!

I will admit at the time I was one of those who wasn't best pleased but lookin back how many were ....thank god, well Ken davy that we were all proved wrong !!

I did not see the point is signing him. Robbo and brown was starting to gel well with some good rugby coming from them. A journey man from wakey....what was the point in unsettling us??? Oh yeah he would turn out to be man of steel for us! Never been so happy to be wrong
