and i agree with jools, the messing around is becoming a joke now from ALL teams, how Mcdermott can come out with that drivel after the game is beyond me and just shows how his blue and amber specs stopped him seeing his own team's misdemeanours, Aiton was pathetic with his diving and play acting yet Mcdermott thought there was only one team guilty of messing around etc, very poor from him

McDermott did not blame Huddersfield or their coach for the messing around at the ruck - he clearly said all teams try to slow the ruck down and will get away with what they can. He also did say that Leeds started to do the same in the second half. His blame was directed at the ref for allowing it.

been disappointed with ferres for a long while now.

mullally doesnt work hard enough in defence, prob why he hasnt kept his place in the team previous.

cudjoe 30 tackles lastnight  one thing for sure is this guy can tackle , the missed one on tomkins apart but fans dont want to notice this and want to give him stick instead, nice little kick through for the wood try though from him.

He said that the referee allowed us, not Leeds, but us, to slow the ruck down by messing around and that contributed to a poor game in his opinion.
Both sides were as guilty as the other but he chose to suggest only Huddersfield were guilty of it and that the ref let us do it. Very poor stuff from a victorious coach IMO

Yes his quote is very disappointing and a pretty weak attempt at deflecting attention away from his own sides activity.

They targeted Brough with comments, head pats etc, trying to get a rise out of him. I would seriously take the armband off him now, even if he remains captain within the group, so he does not talk to the ref at all even if he does direct the team. It is now a weakness being targetted by the opposition with a view to getting his hackles up so much that he talks himself into 10mins.

McDermott is another deluded coach who thinks everyone else apart from his club is trying to spoil games and slow the PTB down to gain an advantage. I'm glad I had the luxury of watching the game at home on sky instead of watching it from the halfway line at Headingley where the game must look somewhat different going off his deluded comments to sky after the game. To say he had blue and amber rise tinted glasses on is an understatement!!!!

Another improved performance when the passes was being thrown they were sticking!
Ferres needs to relax! Rising to much to the niggle of the game! Best thing you can do is just crack on with the game.
Mulally struggles to defend against the little men, hooker ect get around him as he is not just big but "gangly" long arms and poor Centre of balance. Not his fault as its this that makes him so hard to stop with the ball! Certainly makes the most meters of our props.....behind Jerry lol!
I am happy and believe on a different day we would have had the win! Aitons acting especially with Connor was pathetic and Leroy did not play at the ball! Luck no conspiracy

Aiton looks as though he's been trained at R.A.D.A.Why when there are cameras and video referees are they not used? The game is turning into a cheaters paradise.

One of the big things that needs to be stomped out two instances one by ferres on push by Connor. Ferres ok aiton was moving backwards and he put some force into the push but Connor....well a gust of wind would have had more force behind it! Viewers saw it and commentators saw it so punish it! Even if not at the time of the incident punish later. Just can't imagine in a sport that promotes it's physicality a grown man would dive to the floor! Makes himself look pathetic!
