yes he does play like a 2nd rower, runs hard... lost the ball v wigan on first tackle which led to a try after we had soaked up pressure on our line

At full back Connor has the most potential out of him, grix and murphy!
Connor is making the odd mistake but these will only be ironed out by playing the game at the top level, he is a running full back who chimes into the line well.
Murphy has to be in the starting line up, he showed his quality against wigan, quality under the high ball, just reads the game so well and can cover 1 to 5 far too good to leave out.
So sorry grix and broughton but Connor and murphy offer to much to be replaced

He also got picked ahead of Murphy a fair few times when Murphy didn't put a foot wrong and was possibly our best player.

Our back 3 would be Murphy, Connor and Jerry

Boughton is simply not being used to his best asset and Grix is not missed

just a thought. i was really disappointed with cudjoe and our right side defence as a whole against wigan . I'd be tempted to line up with

connor
jerry murphy wardle broughton as our back line.

On a separate note these last 2 games just shows the importance too our team that bruno brings. ok we no were not getting much in attack but 50+ tackles a game we miss

like i have said previous is it wardle that is the problem for broughton?

yes maybe lawrence would have tackled bateman.

So, against Hull when Broughton let the ball go out of touch resulting in a Hull head and feed, that was wardles fault?
The fact that Broughton runs it back sideways and slow is wardles fault?
Broughton not being able to catch a high ball is Wardles fault?

Everybody saying that Broughton isn't being used correctly. As I said, gone are the days of wingers like offiah who got away with having only speed. You need so much more to play top flight RL.

Yes Wardle is a bit greedy these days and he does need to pass it more, however he is not to blame for Broughton not producing the goods.

The 3 main positives from weeks 1 and 2 have been Connor, Murphy and mullally.

Hope Paul Anderson is good to his word, and picks on form and not reputation.
