Well at last some positive news, Antonio"s been a real disappointment for me I was hoping he would have a made a big impact when we signed him. Glad that he appears to have a new opportunity back in Australia. Lets hope it now frees up some money for another signing ?
If so what position do people think we should be looking to strengthen in ?
I would like to see a quality centre who would put pressure on Leroy and Wardle who at the moment seem to be picked no matter what their form ?

Showed the odd flicker of talent. Our pack as a whole were a disappointment so I wouldn't single him out. Would rather got rid of Koppy. Did as much but probably on twice the money.

I hope we re invest the wage in a prop. I don't know who, nobody really in this country. Bare in mind we have lost 4 forwards and only brought in one. Fairbank might be given an prolonged run.

Never really got going for us but then again most of our pack never really got going. I wish him all the best for the future.

I don't think Fairbank is the answer and would like to see an experienced prop come in but I'm not sure this is going to happen so Mullally and Johnson will need to take a big step forward in 2015 - I'm confident they are capable of this but I do think we could do with more experience (and wishful thinking, experience of winning things).

I thought he did ok for us.....certainly no worse than any other forward....shame he didn't stop around.

Isn't Gareth Carvell a free agent ? I'd take a punt on him if he was.

Been a bit hit and miss but could argue not really been given an equal opportunity. Don't see the problem with going with Fairbank - been brought through and until injured a couple of years ago was probably our best forward at the time. On his limited chances this time he hasn't let us down - runs hard great tackler, sounds ideal for a prop! But then again we could always ignore what we bring through, let them go elsewhere and bring somebody in who's no better!

this news is disappointing, the back end of this season he was probably our best prop, certainly the only one who put himself about and showed aggression, an area which we lack! and oh boy how we are going to be lacking it even more now...his size and presence will be missed, teams know the way to beat us, get angry and on our face like wigan did and we roll over.

not surprised kaufusi has made the decision to go anyway after the way he was treated by anderson, sent to bulls on loan then told he could stay there and rot but no credit to kaufusi he came back and battled his way back into the team and credit too him for that..obviously proved anderson wrong.

mullally and johnson really going to have to step up now, johnson not really impressing but still young. we have two other young props too, one being mason but are they ready not sure...lets hope we dont start picking up injuries otherwise we will end up playing players who arent props in these positions..taai and patrick spring to mind, they do a job i suppose.

carvell? no thanks, past it now.
get rid of kopczak as hes on twice the money? doubt it as hes on about 50/60k. so no where near a top earner.

Carvell has had three clubs last season and and did nothing at any. Good player that he has been he is well past it. Fairbank to me is a National league standard player. His efort is first class but he is simply not big enough to make it as a super league forward.

good luck to him, he worked hard and showed he can mix it but like most of our pack, it was in fits and starts.
shame it didn't work out for him here, but good luck to the guy.

as for replacement-we have signed huby! so that leaves, crabtree, kopczak,johnson, mullally, patrick,fairbank, ta'ai and huby as possible props so don't think we need to strengthen in that area.
as for strengthening i think we are pretty much covered in most area's now, not sure there is an area we can strengthen given the lack of money and players available, plus we probably have to offload some players before we bring anyone else in.

Koppy will be on a lot more than 50/60k.
