Really sums up our failing's not to keep Hodgson & transfer out Lunt. Whether its Brown or Thewlis or a combination of both really doesn't make pretty reading and why would Lunt want to come back now and miss the World Club Challenge?

Up until Hodgson left Challenge Cup Final 20 mins from Old Trafford now we don't appear to be able to sign a quality stand off that we badly need and have had two seasons where we have gone backwards. Sure all clubs get it wrong but twice ?

I have bought my season ticket but we are three signings short of turning the corner the next few weeks hopefully will have some developments !!!

The club tried all they could to keep Hodgson but the brown envelopers got their man. Lunt is a different story and his actions pretty much forced the club to loan him out.

Dont expect too much for LUNT. Leeds and Lunt have us over a barrel. A player who does not want to be at the GIants will be a liability.

We might get a few peanuts for him.

Another disaster of the NB era me thin ks.

If he had been playing with a proper pack around him he might have been the player he has been at Leeds. No wonder his confidence went and he got peed off and wanted to go

Rubbish; we were top of the league when he left! Instead of forcing his way back into the side after a dip in form he threw his teddy out of the pram. Good player but his attitude was not right. Hetherington and McDermott would've shipped him out too... and they WILL if he behaves the same way at Leeds. Ask Cross and Burgess.

I was shocked,nay amazed when NB dropped Lunt after he set up one try and scored another in the R1 win at Wigan.Probably that's when Shaun realised he might be better looking at other options.

Same as with Hodgson though,is there any real point looking back now?

If Lunt wanted to go, its because he was made to feel unwelcome!

Im surprised we didnt see Mason loaned out too.

Nathan Brown royally ****ed us last season. From start to sorry finish.

Point... But... Nathan Brown should only shoulder the blame for his own failings. Shaun Lunt should have at least tried to force his way back into the team and he didn't. That is HIS problem. Good luck to him etc etc, but when the going got tough he cried to his agent.
