I wouldn't expect much from Uncle Gary. We still have McShane on the books so aren't in dire need of an hooker. Liam Hood is a little older and wiser now as well. Waiting game from Gary methinks. After all you've got a player on the payroll for the next 3 years who clearly doesn't want to play for you. Let Baloo make the first move! I can see a 'mutual agreement' contract cancellation announcement coming up!

Giants will get an undisclosed fee for for Lunt, everyone will be happy. Giants fans will say we got £50,000. Leeds fans will say they got him for £500.

Either way the Giants will lose out on this so no one should be thinking it will be a good deal for the Giants

kev brown though was treated harshly by anderson i feel. but that ship has passed now.

Can't agree Code why let any player go on a freebie? He signed a contract he should be made to honour it or,be transferred and let a trbunal set the fee.There again it seems to me one of the major faults in RL is that contracts are not worth the paper they are written on.

How do you intend to enforce it.

Threaten to bring him back pay him 50k and have him walking around saying this is poop i could be playing in a the WCC.

then Anderson say well you can go if Leeds give us 20 K and Leeds say not our problem, then the Giants continue to pay him 50k whilst he mopes around in the reserves.

If there was no SC and you could afford to let him stew then the club can have principles. IN THE REAL WORLD he will go and we might get a few peanuts and a packet of pork scratchings

So in the meantime Leeds get him for nothing? What would you do? Lunt has gone public stating he wants to stay at Leeds I would take this as a transfer request.No doubt some kind of a deal will be struck but this club cannot afford to give players away.
