I was appalled by the applause given to Bradford as they left the pitch. I had to remind/tell people about the buses and raffle tickets. Have we ever been applauded off the pitch anywhere??? I kept telling people to stop! Disgusted.

I disagree Ivor.I applauded the Bulls for not giving in even though as players they have been badly let down by consecutive teams of bad management. As players the Bulls have in my opinion shown the kind of people they are true Rugby League players.

...i'm just very narrow minded!!!!!!!

there are good and bad on every side, like i said i have no ill feeling towards the current regime( whoever they are) at bradford, no ill feeling towards the long standing fans ( pre 1997)
but people have to remember that a lot of people representing bradford bulls and some of the things they did left a bitter taste for some of our long standing fans.
yesterday was our payback,it's just a shame that the same people weren't around to witness it.

i am fairly sure the people who were there yesterday are all good genuine supporters and for their sake i wish them well, the rest can do one for me.

I think you're absolutely right, all sides can identify that there is an element of fans who let them down and Bradford is no different. I think the main issue is that many Bulls fans were just that, Bulls fans. We built a fan base up from 4,000 in pre-super league days to 16,000 in about 3yrs so there was always bound to be an element of glory hunters.

That said, not all SL Bulls newcomers are glory supporters, many have stuck with the club through the recent lean years and will no doubt continue to do so. Its us that is left with this sorry mess and we face the abuse that comes with it.

Everything happens in cycles and relegation/playing in Championship has done no harm to Huddersfield, Castleford, Widnes or Hull KR recently and I hope the bulls will be up in the top flight sooner rather than later/never.

Like I said earlier, most Bulls fans have/will wish any harm on any RL club. Banter will always play part in our game but in all honesty, good luck until such a time we can lock horns again.

Whoever did the hanging bully - that was superb, even Bradford fans walking behind us were amused by it !!!!

As for relegating them, yes i took pleasure from it but i can because i had to put up with the crap from the Bulls lot in the past, from those who use to goad us on the 363 back to Huddersfield and those wanted our chairman to die once we started to overtake them, and those that wished our club would go bust so we would f*** off back to the lower leagues where we belonged (including members of these forums too !!) and those who thought it was ok to punch Giants fans who laughed at their 'razzmatazz' etc etc, so yeah some people may be sympathetic to this once big club who were the trailblazers for Super League etc but just remember,a lot of us had to put up with a hell of a lot of abuse, stick etc from Bradford fans, we took it because 1, we had to and 2, we knew times would change, they have and now its come full circle and its their club going through what they wished for ours -for those people, if there are any left, i hope you enjoy it and if you don't well tough !!!

for the decent, genuine Bulls fans, who were there before and who have stayed loyal - Good luck, enjoy some new grounds and new people next year and hope your club comes back better for this like ours did !!

I've never been involved or got involved in any of the bad blood between us and Bradford but to me that's what's called sporting rivalry - if you give it out you better be able to take it!

I am a bit baffled by any sympathy for the Bulls though - not seen much for London (and don't get started on the points deduction, there are rules off the pitch as well as on it). Many people wanted relegation bought back and now it has been what did they expect - of course clubs are going to go down! All I care about is it not being us!

You've obviously never visited Odsal then because away teams (except Rhinos) are always applauded off the pitch by those on the popular terrace.

Everything you've said is what is wrong with the game.

After working in Huddersfield for many years throughout Bulls glory period I'm truly disgusted by some of the comments I've heard. However, I know this is a minority and many Giants fans I know personally have said some kind words as have some on here.

So thank you to all those who have wished us well, good luck for the rest of the season (and next) and hopefully see you soon in the not too distant future.

Seems this hatred was all one-way. They appear to have been carrying this persecution complex and you didn't even know it. Perhaps it was your apathy towards them that really hurt. Classy response!

Yes, all teams usually get applauded off by the popular terrace at Odsal. The massive chip on that shoulder of yours, refuses to acknowledge anything good about the Bulls. Sad really.

I like Hudds, and wanted you to win SL last year. 99% of Bulls/Giants get on fine.

Just 1% of Bulls fans and 1% of Giants fans (including you!) throw absolutely horrendous comments at each other. You're as pathetic as each other.

The Internet attracts loads of creeps and weirdos thankfully Huddersfield and Wakefield's are on RLfans and not in the real world.

Jesus it's our fault Halifax are crap, it's our fault Keighley are crap, it's our fault no one cares about the giants and it's our fault Wakefield are terminally poop!

a lot of this anti bulls stuff comes from the people who,for years had to put up with bulls fans ( mostly the ones from huddersfield) lording it over us fartowners. putting us down at every opportunity, gloating, being abusive about everything to do with our club and generally just been ar$es!
i do feel sorry for the genuine bulls fans who were there before 'bullmania' but all those years of them being successful and the crap we put up with, well today ends all that.

but yes first and foremost i want us to win for our sake, it's just an added bonus that we can erase all those years of hurt :)

:D
I don't think it will erase your pain until you win a major trophy but if our relegation has helped in some small way then I'm pleased for you! I'm quite at ease with dropping down a league at the moment, the club needs rebuilding from the bottom up. With the right people in charge we have a potential fan base that Huddersfield can only dream about.

I' wouldn't the memories from our glory years for anything, even now. It might be a long journey back into SL but we will get there eventually.

Considering that you are a city three times the size of Huddersfield that's not surprising.
