Thought the same Zulu when catching up on this thread. Anyone can tell us next week's lottery numbers, though. Perhaps Col can tell us the Winning Ones!?

Well done on your win. Not sure whether to be gutted that we lost, or happy that we mixed it with you 50-50 and just lost out by the one score. Fax have struggled all season putting two 40 minutes together without a string of dropped balls and/or penalties to scupper us at some point in the game. I thought we did pretty much manage a full 80 minute performance today, with just a couple of brain-f@rt moments costing us together with your last try hitting us when our gas tank had hit zero. Hope you make the M8's, but if we can play anything like today through to the end of the season we should be in there with you.

Just wanted to say how nice it is to attend such a crucial game and be able to have a bit of banter between the fans before and after the game without any hint of animosity. What made me chuckle was the stewards in front of us muscling up at the end of the game as if we were planning a pitch invasion or something! A great advert for the game today, and I thought the Fax faithful did their bit in the South Stand to help make it so (I would say that though, I was there, and pretty hoarse this evening!).

If we play like that next week at Toulouse they will get 50 (they already average 38 per game). The only plus point is that the match is at a sort of nuetral venue 30 miles away.

I think you maybe discredit the Fax performance today. You can beat Toulouse, but I have to hope from a Fax perspective that you don't. 32 points looking like the magic number for the top 4 this year, so you should be able to have one loss and still make it. Fax with their draw and odd number of points at the moment could possibly factor in the equation if we can get to 31 points (two more losses).

Any which way, an exciting and interesting end to the season.

Looking at the remaining fixtures for all the top 6, today was a vital win for us. I do however think Fax may turn over London and/or Fev so lots for them to play for still. This is going to be a heck of a run in.
I watch every game on DVD (thanks Fred) but it will never beat being behind the sticks.

Yes, but that is not the reality of it all. Not too much Super League quality out there. Sometimes in life you don't "get what you pay for". That is why by the end of the season, we will have lost at least 8 games....Maybe us being full time, and Halifax part time, would have been a more realistic comment.

Correct, and quite possibly why we leaked the last try of the game.

@GFB, our part-time team was awesome today, but please don't demean it by comparing relative salary budgets. Fax run on a shoestring budget but with an immense team spirit, along with a slightly overweight half-back at their heart.

Credit to your fans yesterday. Friendly banter before and after a potentially crucial game for the middle 8s.

A draw would of been a fair result but as a fax spent around 450k and Leigh who are full time spending over a million I would say that is a fair result
