It was an unnecessary recklass tackle,as we would have got the ball back with just a tackle.

But the ref stated his head hits the ground first. Which clearly it doesn't.

I think the red card is enough punishment (same as Andrew Dixon), no doubt because its Leigh we'll get a ban

He will get a ban because it was a dangerous tackle, who he plays for isn’t a factor.

You have posted a few recently that win you the title of Leigh’s most capable apologist. You never let the truth affect your judgement.

If that tackle had been the other way round you would want hanging back.

Was a red deal with the ban you can’t defend it so just have get on with it

No need to bodyslam him. A bodyslam causing the player to land on his head/neck where it could have paralysed him. Not an unlucky tackle. 3-5 matches for me.

There's no defending that tackle. Brian McDermott says he doesn't believe it was intentional. Nor do I, but the fact remains that it was totally unnecessary, and was highly dangerous. Leeds then compounded the problem by keeping Parcell on the pitch, as they had no other recognised number 9 in the squad. Thankfully, he is said to be fine to play next week.

I will be surprised if M'atautia escapes with anything less than 6 games.

He is an exceptional Rugby League player on the field, real quality, a polite young man off it,and whilst he obviously does not intend to in any way, the potential to cause serious injury to an opponent is there to see.

He is going to be a big loss to us, sat in the stands.
