Whilst you are correct that financial backing and a quality HB got us into superleague along with other factors, one of which was Neil jukes, like it or not. Those two main factors as you put it are still in place, the financial backing, and a creative player who was in the NRL team of the season not too long ago so it’s not like those factors have changed, I’m not defending today’s result as it’s appailing and unacceptable, but I feel as though the make or break point with jukes will be over the next 3 games, which may result in Ridyard having a say in if jukes will remain. He won’t be dismissed after today but with last seasons failings and a poor start he must be on a very thin rope..... but I hope he can turn it round and prove us all wrong like we know he has in the past
The majority of posters on this Forum are Leigh fans, and we all sincerely hope the Club can turn this unfortunate season start around, I have said Jukesy won't resign, and I doubt Derek will fire him, the question is Can we afford to wait the outcome of the next 3 games That will be a quarter of the season gone, and maybe a top 2 spot gone as well. For me Both Jukesy and KC need to leave the Club, the brand of rugby being played is not good enough , I didn't go to the game today, but listened on LCTV, the commentery stated that Barrow had a completion rate of 100% at one point, yet Leigh's was vastly inferior,we have also gone 2 second halves now without scoring a point, our next 3 opponents are Toulouse, Fev, and Fax , 3 possible losses under current form, come early March things could look very dismal, myself whatever happens I will still be there cheering the lads on , but what what will be the attendances if we continue like this? We has lost 900 Season Ticket holders which is very worrying, and had a drop of over 2000 on the crowd from the Toronto game to the Batley game, now Toulouse won't bring any fans, we could have a sub 2000 crowd next Sunday, with Derek wondering why.
Charlie, how many more wont bother turning up next week. After the past few performances it isn't hard to see why to be honest. this is a performance based business, if your not performing then expect turbulent times..
I expect the crowd to be a low one next week based on the recent performances. And who can blame them to be honest.

Atomic, I will be there next week, I've watched some dour Leigh teams over the years, for me the squad is OK ,they just need directing in the right ways , are Jukesy and KC the men to do it?NO ,but I don't think Derek will get shut, he showed Abram the door in July of that season, when it was to late,it could be a case of Deja Vu.
I will, but then again I have pre payed for the expierience being a season ticket holder which I expect will be the vast majority of the turnout, as someone said this is a results based buisness, the better the results the more stakeholders you entice through the turnstiles. Which brings me to DB, in his primary buisness he is very very successful, no way has he done that all alone he has employed the right and quality people in his buisnesses key positions, I could not imagine for one minute that if any of his staff were underperforming they would still be employed. Contarary to popular opinion buisnesses are working to create proffits not to provide jobs, losing the paying public in his secondary buisness Leigh RLFC is losing working capital, there is something sadly amiss, he says he has principles but principles don't pay bills in buisness, take stock please Mr Beaumont and steady the ship before it capsizes, you are the Captain pull the right levers. As a matter on interest does any one know how many season ticket holders we have?
As I didn't go to Barrow yesterday I don't think i'm qualified to speak on our performance however, the result is appalling for an expensively assembled fulltime 'Team' against a part time team. Barrow lads will have clocked on this morning at their respective places of work and, carry out a full days work! For many years it was said that it was unfair to have FT teams competing with PT teams, how many times is this theory being proved wrong? I'm waiting to read an account of the Match from those who went to Barrow and, in particular the performances of our players !
