Evening Ian.

Surely, back bacon is the leaner, healthier choice? Its certainly my choice. (but of course, probably isn't Riddy's - no wonder he's been banished over to the dark side!! )

Must admit Alan, I'm a back bacon bloke myself. :thumb:

What sort of bacon do the forwards eat, surely it isn't back bacon?

Am I Rugby Leagues Adrian Durham?

Re: Martyn Ridyard : Sat May 27, 2017 8:53 am
Looking at the tries Huddersfield conceded last night, it was apparent that Wakey were targeting Riddy in the defensive line at every opportunity. Sad to say but I think Super League is just a step too much for him. Don't think we'll see him in a Leigh shirt again.

He also seemed to have a hand in most of Hudds tries - let's not write the guy off yet, still think he may have something to offer come the business end, looks a little heavy game time can't do him any harm

I watched those highlights aswell and I can't see any of Wakefields tries where Riddy is in shot?? They did concede on that edge but not through him.

I agree he had a hand in the tries and looked like he was taking the line on creating space.

First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can.

The club has taken some stick for moving Riddy to Hudds for a month but this is exactly why I believe it was done. We need him in game shape and SL ready come the business end. It's going to be 7 battles. All troops needed fit and ready.

He's wearing no 33, flapping in most shots.

Martyn has admitted that twice in the last year he hasn't been totally professional in his approach..whether this is a confidence issue or not it must have an effect on team mates...without drawing any conclusions I'd suggest he needs a change of club and good luck to him. (Personally I don't think he scores enough tries for a SL number six)

Well highly likely he won't get into the Hudds team next time out with Brough back - he needs to come back to us all guns blazing, otherwise I can see him at a champ club next season - and we're staying up before anyone states the obvious :)
