It has been announced by the Club that Leigh Centurions are to partner Sheffield Eagles on a DR agreement for the 2017 season, I agree with Jukesy and Derek that it will benefit both Clubs, as we have a fair sized squad this year and give the players not involved in the particular match at least some game time, I know a few fans don't like the DR system but I do .

Good option for us this year,would prefer an A team myself

Not sure how the players being allowed to train with the Eagles benefits their game with us. I can only see that being specific players.Only benefit I see is if required they are on hand.Still not sure about that training side of it though.

Sheffield have gone part time so players wont spend that much time training there

I'm still banned off Sheffield forum from two seasons ago when I made a little quip about the taxi to Leigh being booked up so I'm thrilled to be helping them out

In fairness over on their board they seem to accept that this arrangement should benefit both clubs, and AC has been quite complimentary.
