Now it looks we are all done recruitment wise what's everyone's starting 17?? Personally I'd go McNally Higson Hampshire brown Dawson riddy drinkwater hock higham Weston Stewart vea Patterson subs Maria Hopkins Hansen pellisier. Think after a few week we could see higham drop out of the 17 as the improvement in hood and pellisier is quality

It's Mickey Highams last playing season & I think he will be spelled with Hood initially & Pellisier depending on form obviously.

I can see McNally starting at FB but if he struggles then Hampshire or Smith taking FB.

Forwards are pretty set IMO, Weston, Hock, Patterson, Hansen, Acton, Hopkins

Stewart, Riddy, Drinky.
Brown, AJ, Tonga, Hampshire or Dawson for wing & centres.

Tickle Vea Maria green To add to the pack and crooks Reynolds Thompson to the backs. If mc nally struggles which he won't imo, then we have an NRL winning FB in Brown and a great utility in Hampshire

Forgot about Danny Tickle & Green, don't know enough about Maria but my B.I.L (Saints fan) says Vea is a pudding, which seems to be backed up on Saints forum.

Ben never seems to be first choice & though I rate him, he now needs to push hard for a place.
Thompson apparently the fastest in the club over 60 metres.

Some big names (including Higham) left out which shows the quality of the squad. Squad depth is important.

We will have a better idea when squad numbers are released. The club havent yet released them as it seems they expect another signing.
