"Arguably the best Rugby League side certainly in the last 40 years!" Phil Clarke.

Aww bless! Not even in the club yet and already spouting cliched SL rhetoric. Apart from us "owning" the RFL you'll need to learn that Wigan also own the RFL as well as Saints. Your players will not get a favourable hearing at the disciplinary because the panel will be made up of ex-Wigan players and your players will cop 3 match bans for offences Leeds,Wigan and Saints will get a NFA for. Thems the rules. Take it or leave it. Although after seeing some of the headhunting going on last Thursday you may have your own parking spot at Red Hall! O'Loughlin and Wilkin would have been proud of some of them! Good luck next year!

Interesting that Leeds had four players cited from that game, while we had two. (the same player twice who, coincidentally is ex-Leeds) Perhaps the match review panel saw things differently to the RL public - and this, despite their terrible bias towards Leigh!!

Bongser was not a war baby but he did, in his teens coin the terms "piffle-monger" and, later, the better term "pish-monger." it is neither a crime nor Unwinese to use the birthright of every English native, our glorious Mother Tongue. I am making no references to Old Ma Bongser's preening techniques there.
