Well let's see who else we've signed, but for me experience in the forwards is crucial - this year shows it for me. The pack sets the foundation for the backs to build on, the Leeds game shows what happens when you get on the back foot.

Top signing where we need it, Catalan fans rate him very highly, his NRL record speaks for itself. So that's Stewart and Maria confirmed and Green rumoured in the pack so far.

Hello Leighites. Congratulations ! I gave you my view about Willie Tonga at the start of this season.Stewart has been Catalan's best player in both good and bad times this season.He is a very good tackler and defensive organiser. He is less good-but still impressive-going forward.Maria has improved a lot this year,but possibly lacks the strength , and passing ability to be top class. There are rumours that Pelissier is going to Leigh.My own-minority I admit-opinion is that the Dragon are right to get rid of him.Nothing ever comes of his breaks-though he can make breaks.He lacks the cool head which is vital for a top rate hooker and I don't think he will be able to change.But we shall see. I look forward to coming to Legh next season. Good Luck .

If your rumour is true regarding Pelissier,then he will have a fine mentor in Mickey Higham who will be serving his last season in the shirt before going upstairs.
I'm not sure what is going on at the Cats but you seem to be losing a lot of your home grown talent.That concerns me,would also think that concerns you!

Good luck next season and I await the Cats at the LSV with intrigue.

Thank you Atomic. During the last 5 years only Julian Bousquet of the home grown players has been good enough for superleague .Many backs-Escare ,Cardace ,,Pala etc. have exhibited inadequate defensive skills especially an inability to deal with,or indeed make any real attempt to deal with the crossfield high ball.We now have an u23 and an u19 squad and have got to turn more of them into superleague players.The trouble is that this could initially lead to relegation.We have a good coach and trainer who are well aware of the real situation and I hope they can prduce a good mix,which works better in the longer term-remember that many thought we would make the final this year at the half way stage. Glenn Stewart is a fantastic signing for Leigh - truth be told if we could of done I wouldn't of minded seeing him at Wigan. Will be looking on with intrigue next season at Leigh, long time coming and well deserved SL promotion.
