Am I right in thinking he hasn't come back as a ref though?

I can't remember hearing his name for quite a while.

He's not come back, as far as I'm aware. Prior to his brush with the law, he was absent from reffing due to a rumoured fallout with Jon Sharp, who was then Controller of refs. As soon as Sharp went to Fev, Matt came back to reffing, but not for long. Pity he's not come back though.
