First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can.

Great Game, Great Win : Sat May 28, 2016 9:08 pm
After a worrying and sometime sloppy first 15 mins, I thought the boys put to together a fantastic and measured comeback and second half display. A really tight game but I personally believe that we deserved the win (regardless of what was a clear offside for a Bradford try  )
Lots of positives, and it's clear that Jukes is working hard at changing our core style of play to suit the middle eights, while still looking to get the ball moving when appropriate.
Great games by all but especially Drinkwater, Higham and Reynolds. I think we missed Riddy at times of course but those three stepped up and guided the team very well for a first time out group. Liam Hood also looked good when on.
Edge of my seat all game and thanks to the never say die attitude I'm a happy camper now.
Well done Leyth

We seem a lot more composed under Jukes stewardship than under Rowleys poop or bust style. We get better week by week. Looking forward to how we perform in the eights.

Just been over to the Bradford Bulls board.

Despite being quite complimentary about the Bulls performance one of their fans proceeded to name call over whether the NO TRY was sent upstairs as no try or try .....

Regardless of my error it was as clear as NO TRY as I have ever seen.

Anyway, I think overall it was a fair result, Leigh dominated for long periods following the early dominance of Bradford & despite the frankly criminal adjudication of the clearly blind VR over Bradfords 2nd try, Leigh did well.

I now reserve the right to adjust my finishing positions for the Championship as ...

1. LEIGH
2. Bradford
3. London
4. Featherstone

*as posted yesterday*

Thought Greg Worthington was immense (often overlooked but had a blinder)
Acton not at his best.
Higham outstanding.
Higson, Hanson, Reynolds & Drinkwater had very good games.
Armstrong looked a shadow of his former self.
Tonga was average.

Role on the home game v Bulls.

I haven't watched it back yet.

What reason did they give to justify the Bradford try that was BLATANTLY a mile offside?

Didn't even seem 50/50, complete madness.

Luckily class shone through and we picked up the points, crazy afternoon!

Went up as a try with a query on the offside.

If it was offside it was centimetres. I thought it was ever so slightly offside, but the camera angle may have been deceptive, so not enough evidence to overturn the on-field decision.

Did you really watch the same game? Acton was superb: played long, long minutes, made a huge number of tackles and hard yards every time he had the ball. What more do you want from a prop? And his discipline was good too. Hood also had his best game in a Leigh shirt.

Hood is turning out to be a very good signing
