One of your fans over on TotalRL is claiming you have lined up in his words "hardened NRL players" for the eights that will stay and play for scotland! Anyone else heard anything? To be fair he spouts rubbish on there unlike some of you more normal people on here

Most probably a wind up. Though if Hock and Acton get big bans as expected, we'll probably need some reinforcements in the front row / loose forward positions.

With Brierley and Chase off the wage bill (almost certainly 2 of the biggest earners in the league) and only Drinkwater as a replacement (almost certainly on a much lesser wage than either of those 2) we must have a fair chunk of cap space free.

I would expect us to have Barlow off the salary cap soon too who was on a 5 year contract which must have been pretty big.

So we should have loads of room under the cap to bring people in to strengthen as we see fit.

Whether those quality players are available is questionable but I wouldn't be surprised to see us bring in one or two ahead of the middle 8's.

A top quality winger would be my first choice.

Thought as much he has no ability to debate what he thinks about leigh is right! Thinks DB is mightier than god himself! When he was in the midst of all the things he was doing on social media etc was defending him to the hilt!

Im glade DB has reigned it in now as im sure his money and a strong Leigh are good for the sport

Wow, that is some statement by DB regards his financial backing of Leigh to enable an assault on Super Dooper League !!!

Myself I hope for a big & very fast winger or even 2, just imagine the devastation we could cause with a lightning back line !
Other than that, maybe an NRL quality centre.

Don't see much wrong with our pack, unless Chris Hill wants to come back LoL.
