Let's look at this a different way if you was working for a idiot and the chance to work for a better company with a lot better pay and conditions came along how meny would hang around not meny I for one would be gone. Let's not forget all the good times Paul brought to Leigh .

The only issues I have are 1) Paul was contracted ie I am sure he would have wanted a pay off if we had sacked him after the eights 2) the bull poop that he came out with instead of saying he fancied the Toronto job.
As long as they operate within the laws then good luck to them

Mo, the laws/rules are already in the process of being changed if they haven't already for Toulouse. FT team on CH1 salary cap.....yeh right.

We have yet to see any CH1 club give their reasons for giving up on promotion for another season.

Its all very exciting however, it will fail just like all the other ventures before it! It would be great to see Rugby League flourish in Canada and, I don't know how poplar Union is there and they have been playing that for some time!
Generally, (OZ apart) wherever League and Union are played Union is the most poplar, sadly.
This transatlantic idea will fail because, us fans still want to watch our teams beat our local rivals, fact! There will never be a time when a Wigan v Toronto game will attract more fans than a Wigan v Saints, another fact! You may question 'fact' because the venture has not yet begun! At least the RFL and clubs here wont suffer financial loss and, having PR on board they are guaranteed 'Honesty and Integrity'

The laws must have been changed for Toulouse regarding oversea player quotas..Not sure how this pans out with Toronto.Will there be any restrictions put in place?
