Some good positive comments on here regarding our little club
Wouldn't be too worried for your team
Very close game and at 12-22 you were in complete control and I feared the worst
Higham was superb and it was noticeable when he went off you lost a bit of momentum
I'm sure you'll put it right against Oldham come Sunday
Good luck for the rest of the season except obviously went we meet again

Thanks for the kind comments , your guys did you proud, i'm sure we identified areas we need to improve on .

Full credit to Batley.
And you'll be hard pushed to find a Leigh fan who has a different opinion.
Most are disappointed with the performance and particularly the result, but it's refreshing to see the lack of excuses, and people simply recognising that Batley played well enough to win the game.

Have to say well done to Batley. They matched us physically, kicked far better and capitalised when they had pressure. If Batley keep up playing like that I don't think many teams will win at Mount Pleasant this year.

Cheers for the comments, and there's the big question can we keep that intensity week in week out.
A small squad and we've already picked up a bad injury to our no 12 you may have seen him limp off, suspected torn acl which could season ending, hope not.
Think the game took a lot out of us, some of the centurions defending was fair, but at times brutal and now we face fev away.

What a load of OWD Pony,just because Leigh lost there ,Mount Pleasant suddenly becomes a Fortress ,every Leigh for cast a heavy defeat for Batley but after beating you, Batley are suddenly a good team, LS get used to it ,it won't be your last defeat this Month.
